University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2018 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2018. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

The University of North Georgia announces degrees and certificates awarded for the spring 2018 semester, including hundreds awarded in commencement exercises held May 4 and 5 at the university.

The GIVE Center announced the recipients of the Silver Level Presidential Service Award. This list is comprised of students who have completed between 175-249 service hours during 2017-2018.

Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

This award is given to the student who has most actively participated in professional activities within the community, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Berry College recently welcomed its newest class of graduates.

The following area residents were among approximately 335 students who graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2018 Commencement Ceremony held on Friday, May 4 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center.

Each year, the Georgia State University Honors College awards a variety of scholarships to current students. This year, the Honors College awarded scholarships to nineteen exemplary students.

More than 300 undergraduate students presented their research at the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) on Thursday, April 12. Students from a wide variety of disciplines shared their findings through oral presentations, posters, artistic displays and musical performances.

The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of the Alpha Eta in March 1975.

More than 150 students of the Georgia State University College of Law were recognized for their achievements during the college's Honors Day celebrations this spring.

The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) will host "Portfolio Reveal," an annual exhibition of senior graphic design work, from April 12 to 24 in the Contemporary and University Galleries at the Center for Art and Theatre on the Statesboro Campus.

The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) is presenting its annual Form & Content Exhibition at the Center for Art & Theatre's University Gallery on the Statesboro Campus March 30 - April 6. "Form & Content" features Art Foundations-level student work from classes Drawing I, 2D Design, 3D Design and Digital Foundations. The exhibition was juried by Michael Marks, an associate professor at the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University. Winners were announced at a reception on March 30. Madison Pleasant was awarded First Place. Second Place was awarded to Brandon Narsing and Olivia Mainor received Third Place. Tanner Maxey received the Juror's Choice award. Morgan Carr and Peyton Butts each received Honorable Mentions. Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 2,900 students for excellence in academics on the Fall 2017 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Kennesaw State University is being represented by nearly 100 students this week at the 2018 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Edmond, Oklahoma. More than 4,000 students from 400 colleges and universities are presenting their research April 4-7 at the prestigious annual conference. With 93 students attending, Kennesaw State's number of participants is second only to the host institution, the University of Central Oklahoma.

Kennesaw State University recently welcomed its newest class of graduates. Nearly 2,300 students earned bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees during Fall 2017 commencement ceremonies in December.

Nearly 500 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
